Job Description
At CEPRA Landscape, we design, build, and maintain world-class landscapes and cultivate the people behind them. As a privately owned company, we specialize in commercial landscape maintenance and construction, proudly serving the Central and West Coast Florida markets.
Our Crew Leaders play a hands-on role in delivering exceptional landscape maintenance across commercial properties. They lead and motivate their teams, ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, and uphold the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate crewmembers to complete all landscape maintenance tasks, safely and efficiently
- Organize and prioritize tasks by following production plans, ensuring proper task sequencing and meeting deadlines
- Train and coach team members on proper techniques, safety procedures, and proper use of tools and equipment
- Maintain clear communication with management by providing timely updates on site progress, proactively and identifying hazards
- Perform hands on maintenance work alongside the crew, including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, mulching and other maintenance tasks needed
- Inspect jobs regularly with identifying with punch list items and quality control
- Monitor and provide preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure tools, trucks and power equipment are in safe, working condition
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations adhering to company safety policies and program
Requirements
- Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean record
- Experience in commercial landscape maintenance or related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- English communication skills required (Spanish a plus)
- Team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to lead group with diverse backgrounds
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions (Mon–Thu, 10-hour shifts)
