Job Description
Crew Member- Public Works $720+ WEEKLYJoin SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued!Key Requirements:
- Must possess a regular driver’s license. CDL Class B license not required.
- Must be available to work overtime and/or in emergencies that may fall outside of normal hours
- Loads and unloads supplies, tools, and equipment
- Picks up asphalt from the asphalt plant
- Breaks up, picks up, and dumps asphalt, dirt, and debris
- Prepares area for asphalt; oils area using a compressor; dumps, spreads, and rakes asphalt; seals, caps, and cleans area
- Provides traffic control, setting up and removing signage, cones, and barricades as appropriate to the job site
- Weeds, cultivates, plants, fertilizes, and irrigates landscaped medians and parkways
- Safely uses power equipment and hand tools to mow, aerate, and edge lawn areas
- Prunes and trims trees, shrubs, and hedges; stakes trees as necessary
- Rakes, sweeps, and vacuums leaves and lawn clippings; clears debris from the work area
- Care and maintenance of plants, trees, grasses, flowers, and shrubs
- Loads and unloads supplies, tools, and equipment
- Picks up concrete, as needed
- Breaks up, picks up, and dumps concrete, dirt, and roots
- Removes forms and cleans the work site
- Repair storm drains
- Monday- Friday, some weekends may be required based on production needs
- 7:30 am- 3:30 pm
