What You'll Do
Empower Learning & Growth
You'll lead the design and delivery of engaging, unit-based education programs that support nurses at every stage of their career. From onboarding new team members to facilitating continuing education, you'll ensure staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
Be a Trusted Clinical Resource
Serve as a go-to expert for nurses, students, and interdisciplinary teams. You'll support the development of critical thinking, clinical competency, and confidence across a variety of patient care scenarios.
Coach & Mentor Future Leaders
Guide new graduates and experienced nurses alike through hands-on coaching and mentorship. You'll model best-in-class nursing practice and help clinicians strengthen their assessment, decision-making, and patient care skills.
Drive Excellence in Practice
Collaborate with leadership and the education team to implement evidence-based practices, improve patient safety, and ensure high standards of care. You'll help introduce new clinical initiatives and reinforce best practices across your unit.
Lead with Purpose
Bring energy, vision, and collaboration to your role. You'll work alongside nursing leaders and interdisciplinary teams to support performance goals, improve patient outcomes, and foster a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Champion Innovation & Improvement
Stay at the forefront of healthcare by integrating evidence-based practices into education and supporting research and quality improvement initiatives. You'll also help teams navigate change with confidence and clarity.
What You Bring
At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience
A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association
A passion for teaching, mentoring, and advancing nursing practice
