This is an in office role requiring working in office five days per week in either Charlotte or Atlanta.

This role helps drive execution across SEBP and CSBB by supporting core business routines, coordinating deliverables, and connecting work across partners to keep priorities aligned and moving forward. It brings structure, follow-through, and operational discipline to the work, helping leaders stay focused on priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver with consistency.

Core purpose of this role is to formulate, develop and drive strategic initiatives for the Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) organization, with outsized focus on a select part of the business (Client Segments, Products, or Channels). The role will utilize strong critical-thinking and cross-functional collaboration skills to help clarify business strategies and translate strategy to business capabilities and implementation approaches needed to help achieve CSBB's strategic objectives. May manage a team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Partner with client segment, product, and/or channel teams to identify opportunities to win with target client segments via differentiated products and distinctive client experiences.

  2. Translate CSBB strategic objectives into capability gaps and cross-functional execution plans that enable the realization of desired strategic positioning

  3. On an ongoing basis, continue to formulate new strategic initiatives aimed at growing specific client segments, product production/penetration, or channel optimization, by drawing on analytics / insights.

  4. Lead the development of, and present recommendations to address strategic business needs

  5. Facilitate and drive project meetings with senior business leaders and client, product, channel SMEs.

  6. Lead cross-functional teams to clarify execution tactics and plans to achieve strategic goals.

  7. Ensure portfolio of execution projects and activities align with agreed client segment, product, or channel strategies (strategic plan alignment)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, or equivalent education and related training or experience to include 8+ years of experience in positions that carry increasing levels of responsibility, including experience in strategy or business consulting

  2. Critical-thinking skills; ability to break-down large, abstract problems or questions into sub-components and develop comprehensive and cohesive recommendations, with supporting data/rationale

  3. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  4. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

  5. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels in an organization

  6. Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools: PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in strategy consulting / strategic planning roles

  2. Proven ability to collaborate across organizational silos

  3. Ability to think strategically while delivering tactically

  4. Deep knowledge of consumer / small business / direct banking

  5. Strong executive presence and communication skills

  6. MBA
