This is an in office role that must work out of the Charlotte or Atlanta office.

Manage, design, and develop numerous performance enablement strategies, readiness, training, supporting tools and resources necessary for Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) teammates and leaders to successfully execute their roles daily. Execute a lead role in CSBB intake, prioritization, and overall capacity management, and ensure alignment with overall business strategic priorities. Strategic and high influence partner for assigned CSBB business leadership team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Lead the development, organization, planning, implementation, and proficiency measurement of assigned CSBB key initiatives. (Ex: performance delivery support, transformational changes, technology releases, efficiency improvements, everyday change management, etc.)

  2. Execute a lead role in CSBB intake, prioritization, and overall capacity management, and ensure alignment with overall business strategic priorities.

  3. Produce project management deliverables, communications, readiness/training, and subject matter expertise.

  4. Engage with Legal, Risk, and Compliance partners to ensure project review, oversight, and mitigation in accordance with enterprise risk appetite.

  5. Collaborate with all assigned lines of business (LOBs) and functions.

  6. Represent Enablement and/or CSBB overall, as needed, on assigned strategic projects.

  7. Promote and actively contribute to a cohesive, inclusive, team-oriented culture aligned with the Truist purpose, mission, and values.

  8. Influence manage and coach a team of Enablement Advocates and other key teammates, in which case, must ensure their ability to effectively partner, manage projects, and build effective communications, training, and readiness.

  9. Attract, retain, and develop top talent, with a strong focus on diversity, and mentor successors for key leadership positions and for opportunities across Truist.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  1. Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, or equivalent education and related training

  2. 7 years of experience in the financial services industry or large sales/service corporation leading corporate function

  3. 3+ years supervisory or management level experience

  4. Track record of successfully managing medium to large projects

  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

  6. Ability to lead cross-line of business and/or cross-functional meetings

  7. Conceptual ability to analyze problems and devise solutions

  8. Ability and willingness to learn and adapt as the needs of the job change

  9. Moderate level of business acumen, including the ability to balance the development of training against the realities of competing priorities and limited budgets

  10. Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products

  11. Ability to travel as needed, occasionally overnight

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in a business-related field

  2. Ten years of experience in the financial services industry

  3. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  4. Instructional design experience

  5. Sound working knowledge of holistic banking/investment platforms, products, services, operations, finance and systems
