Job Description
A CT Technologist opportunity is available in Pensacola, FL, supporting both a hospital-based setting and freestanding emergency department (FSED) locations. The role serves patients across the full age spectrum, from neonates to geriatric patients, under the direction of a Radiologist.The role. Working under Radiologist supervision, the CT Tech independently performs radiologic and CT scan procedures, applying prescribed ionizing radiation with sound technical judgment and minimal oversight. The technologist assumes responsibility for designated areas and procedures, adapting imaging protocols to the clinical needs of patients ranging from newborns to older adults. This position requires the ability to recognize and respond to varying patient presentations while maintaining image quality and technical accuracy throughout each examination.What we're looking for.
- Minimum one year of CT experience required; FSED positions additionally require acute care experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license required
- ARRT registration in Radiography (R) and CT preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
