Job Description
Job Title: CT Technologist (CT/X-Ray) Night Shift= Location: Burlington, WI 53105Facility: 123-Bed Hospital | Level III Trauma Center | Primary Stroke Center
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist with strong CT and X-Ray expertise to join a fast-paced imaging team. This role requires a confident professional capable of working independently during night shifts while delivering high-quality patient care. The technologist will rotate between CT and X-Ray based on departmental needs.
Must-Have Qualifications
• CT and X-Ray experience (required)• Portable trauma X-Ray and portable imaging experience• Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute care setting• Ability to work independently at night• Active BLS, ARRT, and Wisconsin License
Preferred Qualifications
• P Client and Toshiba CT experience• P Fluoroscopy or OR experience• P IV skills and power injection experience• P CTA, trauma, and stroke imaging experience• P EPIC and McKesson PACS familiarity
Facility & Unit Details
CT Rooms: 2
X-Ray: 1 room + 2 portable machines
Average Scans: ~45 per day
Patient Types: Inpatient & Emergency Department (No outpatient night shift)
Traveler Friendly: Yes (First-time travelers considered with 3+ years acute experience)
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT scans including strokes, traumas, angiography, vascular, contrast/non-contrast studies
Conduct general X-Ray imaging, fluoroscopy, OR procedures, and full-body imaging
Float between CT and X-Ray as needed
Ensure patient safety and maintain imaging quality standards
Technology & Equipment
Charting: EPIC (Required)
PACS: McKesson
CT Scanners: Client & Toshiba
X-Ray Equipment: Fuji (portable) and Cannon
Support & Orientation
Leadership support from Supervisor of Imaging and Director of Imaging/Cardiovascular Services
4-Day Orientation:
Day 1: Meet with supervisor
Days 2 4: Training with CT and X-Ray technologists
Work Environment
>z Patient Ratio: 1:1= Adequate PPE provided (N95 & PAPR available)=U Scrubs: Any color (no camo, denim, or hoodies)
