Pay:$70-$75 per hour
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The CT Tech will perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to facility protocols. This role requires adaptability to new environments and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Administer contrast media safely and monitor patients for reactions
- Operate CT equipment and ensure proper imaging quality
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow radiation safety standards and infection control procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff for optimal patient care
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any malfunctions
- Provide patient education and ensure comfort throughout procedures
Requirements:
- Active state license (as required by the assignment location)
- Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) and/or Computed Tomography (CT)
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent CT experience
- Experience with various CT scanners and imaging software
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
