CT Tech Radiology / Cardiology

• Perform high-volume CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstructions.
• Utilize Siemens and GE scanners, ensuring optimal imaging quality.
• Manage a caseload of 150-200 scans daily across four rooms in a fast-paced ED environment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and operate EPIC and Visage systems (must have Visage experience).
• Provide exceptional patient care during trauma, stroke, and routine emergency procedures.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including contrast procedures and IV starts (preferred).

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based CT technologist experience in a facility with over 500 beds.
• Prior experience with Siemens and GE scanners is essential.
• Certified by ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT); BLS certification mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in inpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings.
• Knowledge of contrast media, PACS, and Visage systems.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with outpatient scans, IV starts, and PACS systems.
• Additional certifications or training related to trauma and stroke imaging.
• Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records and imaging software.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with CT specialization.
• Over 2 years of hospital radiology experience, particularly in large, tertiary care hospitals.
• Prior travel experience is advantageous but not required.

Other Requirements:

• Shift available: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, four 10-hour nights per week.
• No call or weekend requirements.
• Must possess valid licensure, certifications, and recent hospital experience.
• Willingness to work in a high-pressure emergency environment.
