CT Technician

PAY: $82-$90

WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated CT Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures that contribute to patient care and diagnostics. Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting CT scans and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Reviewing and verifying physician orders while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Preparing and administering contrast materials as necessary, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.
• Collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging results, positioning patients effectively for optimal image quality.
• Maintaining imaging equipment and ensuring compliance with departmental standards.
• Accurate record-keeping and documentation of procedures performed.
• Participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with CT certification.
• NYS licensure to practice CT technologist.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT imaging preferred.
• Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
