Description:

Position Summary:

CT Technologist/Radiology Tech, Dual Role, with Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, GA. *$10,000 Sign on Bonus

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 3pm to 11pm

  • (Must have at least 1yr experience as a CT Tech to be eligible for the Sign on Bonus)

Position Summary:

What you will do:

  • Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic and CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
  • Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
  • Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.
  • Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.
  • Performing angiography studies of the brain, neck, and chest with 3D reformats

What you will need:

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must be ARRT Xray AND CT registered
  • Education: Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.
  • Experience: One year experience as x-ray/CT Tech in hospital environment.
