Overview:Department: Radiology / Diagnostic ImagingSchedule: Full-Time, Nights, 8 hour shiftsWe are seeking a skilled CT Technologist (Computed Tomography Technologist) to join our Radiology / Diagnostic Imaging team. The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic CT scans, producing high-quality medical images, and ensuring patient safety, radiation protection, and clinical accuracy.Working closely with Radiologists, physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals, the CT Technologist supports diagnostic imaging procedures, assists with patient care, and ensures timely image processing and transmission to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) for physician interpretation.Responsibilities:

Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures according to physician orders and radiology protocolsProduce high-quality diagnostic CT images while maintaining radiation safety standardsPrepare and position patients for CT scans, verifying patient identity and explaining proceduresOperate and maintain CT imaging equipment to ensure optimal image quality and safetyAssist Radiologists and physicians during diagnostic and interventional imaging proceduresProcess and transmit CT images to PACS for interpretation and storageMonitor patients during procedures and respond to patient care needsMaintain accurate patient documentation and imaging recordsFollow infection control, radiation safety, and hospital compliance standards

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.2. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.3. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.4. Radiology/ CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.5. ARRT-CT Certification is required6. Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.7.
