Position Summary:
The CT/X-Ray Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures including Computed Tomography (CT) and general radiographic exams in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. The technologist ensures high-quality images while maintaining patient comfort and safety, following all regulatory and departmental standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Verify patient identification and obtain relevant medical history prior to procedures.
- Position patients and select appropriate technical factors to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.
- Prepare and administer contrast media as required, following safety and allergy protocols.
- Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and completeness before submission to radiologists.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the PACS/RIS systems.
- Provide excellent patient care and maintain a professional, compassionate demeanor.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participate in continuing education and maintain current certifications and licensure.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Licensure/Certification:
- ARRT (R) certification required.
- ARRT (CT)
- State Radiologic Technologist License
- Current BLS certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in diagnostic radiology; CT experience .

Compensation: $95.00 - $100.00 per hour
