Job Description

Custodian – Franklin County Animal Shelter

Do you love working with animals and enjoy staying active? Franklin County Animal Shelter is looking for a reliable and caring Kennel Attendant to join their team!

Pay:$17.00–$18.00 per hour

Schedule:• 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM• Workdays: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday• Days off: Wednesday & ThursdayTraining: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM for a few weeks

Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain dog and cat kennels
Safely move animals throughout the facility
Assist with checking animals in and out using a computer system
Provide care and attention to animals in a fast-paced shelter environment

Requirements:

Must enjoy working with animals
Dependable and willing to learn
Comfortable with light computer use
