Job Description
Acuity is seeking a Custodian - Third Shift to maintain a high level of custodial detail for Acuity's executive space, including private and open offices, restrooms, a kitchenette, conference rooms, and common areas; dispose of confidential paperwork; and provide third‑shift custodial coverage outside of the executive area as needed.
Internal deadline to apply: February 20th, 2026
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Details executive offices, administrative assistant offices and common spaces.
- Vacuums carpet.
- Dusts millwork, including overhead up to 20'.
- Cleans 7 restrooms.
- Cleans kitchenette.
- Practices secure paper disposal.
- Maintains ceramic tile and vinyl composition floor.
- Near perfect attendance and schedule flexibility to meet the ongoing demands of a dynamic environment/facility.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma.
EXPERIENCE:
Custodial maintenance required.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Confidentiality.
- Strong organizational, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds.
- Valid driver license.
- Ability to work under pressure, set priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with management, maintenance personnel, and service contractors.
