Job Description

If you re dependable, take pride in your work and are looking for a steady, year-round opportunity with excellent benefits, this could be the job for you!Pay: $15.75 $16.75/hour, depending on experienceShift: 2nd Shift | Monday Friday | 3: 30 PM 12: 00 AMSchedule: Full-time | 40 hours/week | 12-month positionType: Temp-to-HireWhat You ll Do:As a Custodian, you ll help maintain two elementary schools and create a clean, welcoming environment for students and staff. Duties include:
- Sweeping and vacuuming floors
- Cleaning restrooms
- Emptying trash and pencil sharpeners
- Dusting and cleaning blackboards
- Performing general custodial and cleaning duties
- Opening the building for sporting events, meetings and other functions as needed
- Making sure the building is secure at the end of the day
- High school diploma or GED required
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand, walk, bend, reach overhead, crawl and kneel throughout the shift
