Custodian

Job Description:

Position Summary:This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Empty trash cans around the Plant

• Clean and dust the floors, walls, and walkways in the facility

• Clean and dust the doors and windows around the whole facility

• Wash the walls around the facility as needed

• Wipe down fire extinguishers, crane rails, duct work, light fixtures and HVAC equipment.

• Ability to understand cleaning chemicals used at the plant

• Reliable and punctual

• Trustworthy

• Sense of urgency in completing tasks

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to move from one task to another and stay productive

• Self-motivated

• Ability to wear a respirator or other safety equipment when needed

• Ability to work with cleaning products daily

Minimum Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or GED

Experience:Janitorial/Custodial experience preferred

Computer experience required: None

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders and man lifts if needed

Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements: 

• Latex gloves

• Respirator(employees who are required to wear arespiratormust maintain aclean-shaven facein the area where therespiratorseals to the skin.)

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $17.15 - $22.66. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This position may be eligible for a 15% shift differential which would be applied to the base hourly rate for all hours worked during designated overnight shift periods. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
