About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Office Pride of Northeastern Indiana as a Custodian! We are dedicated to providing exceptional cleaning services that create a welcoming environment for businesses in Fort Wayne, IN. If you are passionate about cleanliness and enjoy making a difference, this role is perfect for you!
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
  • Dust and sanitize surfaces, furniture, and fixtures to maintain a pristine environment.
  • Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Restock supplies in restrooms and break rooms as needed.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with guidelines.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by management.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous custodial or cleaning experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
