Custodian - Nights - Monday Through Friday

PAY RATE: $12.00

The Custodian is responsible for the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the branch and outdoor areas.

• Provide general custodial care, including but not limited to:

• Restrooms/Locker Rooms/Offices/Program areas

• Floors

• Windows

• Surfaces

• Disposal of garbage

• Keep surrounding outdoors area clean, i.e. parking lot/entrance.

• Assist in snow removal and salting sidewalks and parking lots as needed.

• Complete cleaning checklist and all tasks as assigned each shift.

• Regular and timely attendance to respective schedule.

We are looking for someone who displays the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility and adheres to our mission. Previous experience with cleaning preferred. The ability to work independently and hold self accountable as well as partner with co-workers to provide quality services required. Must have the ability to lift 50-75 pounds. Able to work with cleaning equipment, chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners, and solutions in dry, liquid, spray and aerosol forms and perform essential cleaning functions
