Job Description

Part-Time Custodial/Maintenance Staff

Starting Rate

$11.65/hr - commensurate with experience

Available Hours

Weekday afternoons

- Ideally 1:30p-5:30p

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and efficiently multi-task
• Must be capable of effective communication and taking direction
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Knowledge of how to address emergency cleanups including bathroom leaks, clogged sinks/toilets, and how to properly clean up bodily fluids, as well as spills
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and power washers
• Knowledge of how to properly and thoroughly clean locker rooms, public areas, wet mop, dust mop, clean windows, wipe tables and chairs, and organize cleaning supplies
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
• Must be comfortable being on a ladder up to 10 feet tall

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas, including duties such as mopping, dusting, trash removal, window washing, meeting set up, vacuuming, and daily general cleaning.
• Assist the Maintenance Director in projects as needed at the branch
