Freeport location
Monday- Friday 10:00a-2:00p 20 hours per week
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have at least six months prior porter cleaning experience or completion of ACCES –VR porter training program
- Ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor; ability to understand instructions given by supervisor
- Has some training in use of commercial cleaning equipment
- Must have a valid and qualified NYS driver’s license
- Carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing and buffing experience desired.
Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Performs assigned tasks at cleaning sites including but not limited to carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing and buffing
- Assists in moving supplies and equipment as needed
- Notifies supervisor of problems/difficulties in performing job duties
- Monitors inventory of supplies and notifies team leader when the need for replenishment arises
- Notifies team leader if equipment is not working properly
- Performs additional related duties as requested by supervisor
