Job Description
• Job Title: Custodian/Housekeeping Worker Senior• Location: Morristown, NJ• Type: Contract• Compensation: $20.00 hourly• Work Model: Onsite• Hours: 10 AM - 5 PM (Monday through Friday)
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties including taking out the trash, polishing floors and bathrooms, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the school.
- Fix small issues around the school, such as changing light bulbs and setting up chairs.
- Clean between lunch periods and ensure door numbers are maintained.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and supplies effectively.
- Follow work orders from teachers for tasks like moving tables or setting up spaces.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in custodial or housekeeping roles.
- Ability to perform basic repairs, such as changing light bulbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment.
- Good physical condition to perform cleaning activities and lift/move equipment.
