Build Custom Homes with a Team That Takes Pride in the Details
Covenant LLC is hiring an experienced Custom Home Carpenter to support high-end residential construction, renovation, and custom home projects across Essex County and the Greater Boston area.
This role is ideal for a carpenter who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in clean craftsmanship, and can contribute across multiple phases of residential construction, from framing to finish details. You will work with a respectful, organized team that values quality, professionalism, and care on every job site.
What You'll Do
- Perform residential carpentry work on custom homes, additions, and renovation projects
- Frame walls, roofs, openings, and structural components accurately
- Cut and install plywood, doors, windows, trim, and finish materials
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and elevations
- Complete work safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards
- Work professionally with supervisors, teammates, subcontractors, and clients
- Help guide apprentices and helpers when needed
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and ready for the next phase of work
- Support a high standard of craftsmanship from start to finish
What You Bring
- Hands-on residential carpentry experience, including framing and finish work
- Ability to read construction plans and understand project details
- Strong knowledge of tools, materials, safety practices, and job site procedures
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Dependability, attention to detail, and pride in doing the job right
- Willingness to learn, improve, and work as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights when required
