Job Summary:

Responsible for managing customer relationships and driving sales performance across an assigned customer portfolio within a designated geographical area or business cluster. The role focuses on securing new business, maintaining existing accounts, identifying customer needs, and contributing to overall business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own overall sales responsibility for assigned customer relationships and portfolio performance.

  • Manage assigned customers and budget base in alignment with business objectives.

  • Identify customer needs and provide suitable business solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with target customers and assigned accounts.

  • Communicate market trends, rate changes, and company policies to customers effectively.

  • Research territories and identify potential customers and business opportunities.

  • Analyse competitive activities and industry trends to support business growth strategies.

  • Ensure CRM/customer relationship management tools are updated accurately and on time.

  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention within the assigned account base.

  • Handle medium-impact customer accounts across any size cluster or geographical area.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong sales and account management skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

  • Customer-focused approach with problem-solving skills

  • Market research and analytical capabilities

  • Relationship-building and stakeholder management

  • Knowledge of CRM tools and sales reporting systems

  • Ability to work independently and achieve sales targe.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field

  • Relevant experience of 5 years+ in sales, customer management, or account handling

  • Experience in logistics/shipping/supply chain industry
