Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Specialist to support the daily execution of operational processes related to vendor coordination, procurement, and fulfillment. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to launch a career in business operations, supply chain, or logistics. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams such as Procurement, Fulfillment, Online Sales, and Inventory Management to ensure smooth workflows and consistent delivery performance.
What You’ll Do:
- As an Operations Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that vendors, orders, and internal systems stay aligned.
- Submit purchase orders (POs) to vendors, monitor fulfillment status, and follow up on delivery timelines
- Track shipments and resolve issues related to vendor delays, fulfillment gaps, or inventory discrepancies
- Escalate issues to internal stakeholders when vendors are unresponsive or performance falls below expectations
- Process and track Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) and ensure resolution with vendors
- Maintain accurate order, vendor, and fulfillment records within internal systems and databases
- Collaborate with Procurement and Inventory teams to ensure optimal stock levels and order accuracy
- Assist with the continuous improvement of vendor workflows and internal documentation
- Log recurring operational issues and contribute to cross-functional problem-solving initiatives
- Support projects related to process optimization, vendor performance analysis, and reporting
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ year of experience in an operations, procurement, fulfillment, or administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with purchase order management and working with external vendors or suppliers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
- Comfortable working with multiple browser tabs and web-based tools simultaneously
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong written communication and internal coordination skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Able to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

What We Offer
This role offers a competitive base salary of $42,000–$46,000 annually, plus a quarterly bonus opportunity of $2,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, flexible spending, 401(k), paid holidays and time off, parental leave, and a pre-tax transit program.
