Job Description
As the Customer Program Analyst, you will be responsible for the monitoring of assigned customer accounts, groups, or Brokers. You will also reconcile and process customer programs. This includes the management and coordination of programs, projects, document retention, and business analysis related to the development of distributor and key end-user group relationships. In this role, you will provide the highest level of program support with an emphasis on analytical ability, understanding of customer dynamics, project management, and an attitude of cooperation.
FoodHandler is a leading distributor serving foodservice and food processing customers with a broad portfolio of packaging, jan/san, disposables, and operational supplies. They focus on reliability, national account support, and consistent execution across complex customer environments.
This role will work onsite in our Reno, NV location.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate, validate, reconcile and funding of agreed-to customer programs whether customer-invoiced, deducted or proactively paid.
- Collaborate with Finance to keep customer account aging accurate and up to date, as well as support accurate cash applications
- Collaborate with Finance and Field Sales to recover unauthorized deductions.
- Work closely with Field Sales, act as the liaison between Field Sales and the internal execution of our customer programs.
- Authorize and reconcile deductions using Exceedra (customer program payment status).
- Manage the End-User Rebate/POD contract and claim process using Pricing Management System ("PMS").
- Accountable to understand all aspects of deduction and program management; work to develop and implement solutions resulting in reducing customer deductions.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- 2-5 years' experience in two or more of the following areas is preferred: Finance, Accounting, Business Analysis, Collections, Customer Service, Sales.
- Analytical ability to learn new systems quickly (MS Dynamics SL, Promo-Assist, SDS, PAM).
- Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills; must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Microsoft Office software with a strong emphasis on Excel; Access database experience a plus.

- Bunzl Nevada salary range for this role is $55,000-$65,000/year.
