Job Description

JOB TITLE: Customer Relations SpecialistLOCATION:Wichita, KSPAY RATE: $32.00/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type: Contract (3 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) as defined under ITAR regulations?
Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?
Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary:

Determines production status for customer orders using system tools and inventory databases.
Checks system for replacement parts to support customer requirements.
Works with Manufacturing Engineers (MEs) on spare configurations for aftermarket orders.
Makes make or buy decisions for spare parts and components.
Administrates quotes and follows through on quoting to customers including pricing and delivery.
Supports AOG (Aircraft on Ground) and spares requirements for the flying fleet.
Ensures adherence to budgets, schedule requirements, and customer commitments.
Interfaces with customers on product demonstrations, evaluations, and special event planning.

Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Experience determining production status and checking systems for replacement parts.
Experience working with Manufacturing Engineers on spare configurations.
Experience making make or buy decisions for spare parts.
Experience administrating quotes and following through on quoting to customers.
Experience supporting AOG and spares requirements for aerospace programs.
5 years of customer service experience in aerospace or related industry.
Experience with aerospace logistics and supply chain for aftermarket support.
