Job Description

Our capabilities are designed to meet the unique needs of customers throughout the United States and across rapidly growing international markets.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service or inside sales skills who enjoys solving problems, building customer relationships, and working as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team. Experience working with OEM customers or within an industrial environment is highly desirable.Salary Range $60,000 - $70,000 based on experience plus uncapped commission potential. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - The following list of essential job functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary based on business needs.
- Communicate with customers primarily by email and phone, responding promptly and professionally to questions and requests.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, product information, and literature for customers.
- Research products and technical information to help identify solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Work directly with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, technical information, and other product details.
- Track and escalate back orders and customer requirements to maximize fill rates and exceed customer expectations.
- Provide technical and product support based on customer needs.
- Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers, manufacturing partners, and suppliers.
- Collaborate closely with EIA's sales, operations, warehouse, and technical teams.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, packing, shipping, and occasional product delivery when business needs require it.
- A solid and dependable work history.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education, technical training, or certifications are a plus.
- 1–2+ years of Customer Service or Inside Sales experience, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing, distribution, OEM, or similar environment.
- Previous experience with international markets, especially Asian Market, helpful
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, automation, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment and components is preferred but not required.
- A strong willingness and ability to learn EIA's extensive product offering.
- Strong research and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- ERP experience preferred; Epicor Prophet 21 experience is a plus.
- A positive, cooperative attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to lift approximately 25–50 pounds when necessary.
