We're looking for a Customer Service / Production Associate who is passionate about customer service and enjoys a variety of responsibilities throughout the day. This role combines retail, production, cashiering and customer interaction, making every day different and rewarding.If you're dependable, energetic, and enjoy working with both customers and merchandise, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.What You'll Do
- Provide outstanding customer service to shoppers, donors, and guests
- Sort, label and prepare donated items for sale or recycling
- Stock and organize merchandise on the sales floor
- Operate a cash register and accurately complete sales transactions
- Promote store specials, coupons and customer round-up opportunities
- Assist with opening and closing store procedures as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe shopping environment
- Complete required documentation and reports
- Support store operations and production activities as assigned
- Work as part of a team to achieve store goals and provide a positive customer experience
- Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work well with customers, donors and team members
- Dependable attendance and reliability
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic cash handling and money-counting skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to safety and professionalism
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous retail experience
- Cash register experience
- Experience working in a production, warehouse or donation-processing environment is helpful but not required
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work safely in a retail and production environment
- Variety of responsibilities throughout the day
