Customer Service Representative- CSR

Customer Service Representatives at American Leak Detection of Southeast Michigan is responsible for answering customer calls, scheduling appointments, and dispatching/routing our technicians for daily jobs. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will help serve our residential, commercial, and municipal customers throughout the Southeast Michigan area.

The mission of American Leak Detection is to find leaks in a manner that is non-invasive, efficient, and environmentally sound. We will give prompt, professional, and courteous service to all customers while providing the best leak detection services in the world.

• Shift: 8am-5pm hour shift, 1 hour lunch- full-time

Responsibilities:

• Answering calls from customers including homeowners, insurance adjusters, management companies, plumbers, contractors, and commercial businesses.
• Describing our leak detection services, preparing work orders, schedule and dispatch technicians, relay work orders, messages, and information to and from technicians.
• Organizing and filing daily electronic paperwork.
• Manage multiple tasks and handle high-stress situations.
• Complete assignments by a deadline.
• Ability to deal with high call volume, take notes and record information accurately such as customer's name, address, service needs, etc.

Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and other software programs.
• Strong Customer Service skills: Your voice tone is friendly, confident, and reassuring. Honesty in communication is required.
• Mathematical Skills: Applicant must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts and percentages, and have the ability to apply basic math concepts.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
• Preferred experience working with maps
• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Education Level: High School or higher
• Must come into the office
