Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate support. This role is crucial for maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries, including policy questions, billing, and coverage details.
Process policy endorsements, change requests, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
Assist clients with the claims process, acting as a liaison between the client and the insurance carrier.
Educate clients on their policy coverages and identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional products.
Prepare and process new business applications, renewals, and policy documents.
Maintain detailed and organized client records in our agency management system.
Collaborate with account managers and producers to support overall client retention and satisfaction.
Stay current on industry trends, carrier products, and underwriting guidelines.
RequirementsMust have a valid Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance license.
A minimum of one year of experience working in an independent insurance agency setting.
Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
Proficiency in agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, Vertafore, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
A proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
