Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

Provides order status and information support to customers

Enters customer purchase orders into accounting and scheduling systemActs as customer representative to other internal departments

Acts as corporate representative to the customerWorks with Sales Engineers to communicate all aspects of customer orders with customer

Assists the Sales Manager in all duties and other tasks as assignedEnters parts orders and confirm with customers

Generates quotes in business system from Service ReportsFollows-up on customer to submit purchase orders for service quotes

Converts quotes to orderPrepares credit paperwork for review and approval

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous customer service experience in electronics industry preferred

Strong attention to detail

Ability to complete tasks independently and meet strict deadlinesAbility to seek out new tasks and welcome new challenges in a fast-paced, customer- focused environment

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and various levels of management both written and verbalHigh School diploma or equivalent
