Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a genuine love for animals. As a Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and enhancing the client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.

- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar efficiently.

- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly and accurately.

- Maintain client records and update information as needed.

- Process payments and handle billing inquiries.

- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry.

- Ensure the reception area is clean and welcoming.

- Coordinate with veterinary staff to provide seamless patient care.

- Handle client concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary.

- Stay informed about clinic services and promotions to inform clients.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.

- Previous experience in a veterinary or medical office setting preferred.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with practice management software.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.

- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a love for animals.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays.
