Job Title: Customer Service RepresentativeLocation: Spencer, IACompensation: $18.00 per hour – paid weeklyJob Type:  Temp | Full-timeAbout the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Customer Service Representative for a food production and cold storage company in Spencer, Iowa. In this role, you’ll support daily shipping and receiving operations by coordinating customer shipments, communicating with internal departments and carriers, and ensuring accurate documentation. • Coordinate and dispatch inbound and outbound customer shipments
• Communicate shipment and receipt details with warehouse teams, customers, and carriers
• Provide timely coverage of the telephone system and assist with clerical duties
• Respond to customer inquiries, process orders, and resolve concerns professionally
• Ensure shipping and receiving documents are completed accurately and on time
• Assist with developing inbound and outbound freight schedules alongside warehouse leadership

What You Need to Bring to the Customer Service Representative Role:

• Ability to understand and follow verbal work instructions
• Ability to operate a computer, calculator, and phone system
• Strong communication skills for receiving and relaying directions
• Ability to perform data entry, file records, and send emails or faxes
• Comfort working in cold environments (approximately 28–38°F)
• Ability to work around wet floors and food/meat products
