Action Plumbing, Heating, AC and Electrical LLC is looking for areliable and motivated Customer Service Representative (CSR)to join our team of service professionals.
Job Summary:
The CSR plays a vital role as the first point of contact for our customers and service technicians. This position ensures timely scheduling, effective communication, and top-notch customer service to maintain the high standards our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming service calls and schedule appointments.
- Assign the appropriate technician to each service call based on availability and job type.
- Coordinate technician arrival times and communicate updates to customers.
- Relay messages and work orders between customers, technicians, and supervisors.
- Provide exceptional customer service and follow up to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Update customer records and service history accurately in the system.
- Monitor and adjust daily technician schedules to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and manage order details.
- Use map-reading skills and geographical knowledge to assist in dispatch logistics.
- Perform other administrative and support tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and prioritization abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly, professional phone presence
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for working with computers and phones
- Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs occasionally
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in dispatching, customer service, or schedule coordination
- Strong geographic knowledge or map-reading skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a busy office or call center environment
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with strong problem-solving abilities
- Professional and courteous communication style with both customers and technicians
