Job SummaryA growing manufacturer in the materials industry is seeking an energetic, team‑oriented Customer Service Representative to support a fast‑paced, rapid‑response business model. This customer‑focused role handles daily inquiries including product information, quoting, and order entry through email, phone, customer portals, and in‑person visits. Strong performance offers opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a working knowledge of product technology and applications
  • Serve as the primary contact for an assigned customer group
  • Develop and prepare quotations, including basic estimating
  • Enter and manage all order types in the ERP system
  • Process expedite requests, change orders, and cancellations
  • Enter and track sample orders
  • Maintain customer accounts and manage customer portal activity
  • Verify order accuracy and identify growth opportunities
  • Support incoming customer calls
  • Develop subject‑matter expertise within the ERP system
  • Assist the Customer Service team during peak periods and special projects
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Customer service experience beneficial; manufacturing exposure a plus
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with customer portals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stay positive and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment

  • Strong communication with Sales, Quality, Production, and Technical teams
  • Professional, calm, and customer‑focused demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Working Conditions

  • Full‑time (40+ hours as needed)
