The main responsibility of the Customer Supply Management Specialist is to ensure a high level of Professional Key Account Customer Service to Ruiz Foods customers, brokers, and internal team members.  Facilitation of customer requests and orders via EDI following established SOP protocols.  Build relationships with a depth of understanding Customer expectations ensuring timely execution of the order fulfillment functions for assigned Customers and Sales regions.  Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to bring solutions to Customers including internal processes.  Escalate customer issues appropriately within the organization for a timely satisfactory resolution.  Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to ensure flawless Customer Supply Chain Logistics and Customer Focused execution.

COMPENSATION: $27.00 - $32.00/Hour, DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily communication with Customers, Sales, Transportation, Distribution and Supply Chain.
  • Accountable for the day-to-day timely execution of customer orders, track and trace, securing proof of delivery as necessary, coordination of customer returns, shortages, damages and deductions as well as ensuring that the customer receives an accurate invoice.
  • Sales Territory collaboration including customer SLA, (service level agreement) execution.
  • Creates a positive experience for the Customer by consistently providing superior service and exceeding expectations. This includes areas such as transportation, fulfilment, forecasting procedures such as identifying emerging regional trends, forecast business impact or demand requirements.
  • Process and maintain orders for terms and conditions compliance including invoicing.
  • Utilize system reports to perform various job functions managing sales order compliance.
  • Facilitate price discrepancies, customer deductions and process check requests as applicable including the validation of supporting documents in accordance to department standard operating procedures.
  • Effectively and completely handle all customer inquiries timely, manage customer invoicing, including investigation of invalid deduction trends.
  • Manage across all BU’s, critical metrics to include response time to customers, case fill and on time delivery.
  • Support the implementation of strategies and programs to improve service or cost to serve.
  • Cross functional team responsibilities for the day-to-day priorities.
  • Generate Customer Supply Chain reports with a regular review of account status and other duties as assigned by the Team Supervisor such as promotional planning activity.
  • Assists in dispatch of shipments to Customers in a cost efficient and timely manner. This process requires effective decision making, problem solving and teamwork with Supply Planning, DC's and Transportation partners.
  • KPI Tracking to team goals, Adhoc Service Level Reports including Case Fill & OTIF.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-7 years of minimum experience within Customer Service, Supply planning, Distribution and/or Logistics.
  • CPG, ERP and Trade Spend experiences are a plus.
  • B.A. or B.S Degree preferred, not required.
  • Experience working with Retail, Food Service, Convenience Store Buyers, Distributors and/or Brokers preferred.
  • Requires ability to navigate computerized systems for tracking, identifying order exceptions, analysis, and/or troubleshooting in accordance to protocols.
  • Experience working with Order Management/ERP systems, 3PL shipping locations, EDI (electronic data interchange), on-line vendor portals, databases, software systems and Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal & written.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Infor M3 Cloud experience a plus.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
