• Minimum of 5+ years of total Certified Surgical Tech (CST) experience
• At least 2+ years of cardiac and vascular surgical experience
• 1+ year of CVOR experience
• 1+ year in a Level I Trauma facility
• Proven scrub experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrumentation
• Proficiency in aseptic technique
• Ability to handle cardiovascular/thoracic procedures including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements, etc.
• Experience with equipment documentation and charting systems such as EPIC
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Strong knowledge of general OR procedures, thoracic, vascular, and CVOR protocols
• Versatile with scrub and circulate duties, crash cart management, and equipment handling
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and call requirements

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with cardiovascular device reprocessing
• Familiarity with hospital-based electronic charting or documentation systems beyond EPIC
• Prior experience working in trauma or emergency surgical settings

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
• Extensive hands-on experience in cardiovascular and vascular surgeries
• Prior work in high-volume or academic medical center settings

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work shifts from 14:30 to 23:00, including evenings, weekends, and the possibility of working anywhere between 06:30 and 23:00
• Willingness to travel or relocate as needed
• Valid certifications and licensure as required
• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule and diverse surgical environments

Position Details:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $62.47
• Shift: 14:30 - 23:00 (Evenings, with potential for 2x8 and 2x12 shifts)
• Start Date: April 20, 2026
• Openings: 1
