Join Our Team as a CVOR Tech Surgical ServicesAre you an experienced CVOR Tech ready to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CVOR Tech to support our Surgical Services team. This vital role offers the opportunity to work in a Level 1 Trauma Center performing complex cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular procedures. • Assist with receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation.
• Support a wide range of surgical cases including Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atherectomy, Valve Replacements, TAVR, TEVAR, Heart & Lung Transplant, and more.
• Ensure sterile technique and adherence to surgical protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams in a high-stakes environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and manage equipment efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience, particularly in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting.
• Proficiency with cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures.
• Certifications: BCLS and NBSTSA required.
• Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Fri-Sun).
• Must have experience with complex procedures such as TAVR, VAD, valve replacements, and aortic repairs.
• Willingness for 90-120 hours of call within a 6-week schedule.
• Previous experience with heart and lung transplant procedures is a plus.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with robotic-assisted cardiac surgery.
• Knowledge of endovascular procedures such as EVAR and TEVAR.
• Familiarity with perfusion equipment and pump line management.
• Cardiothoracic ICU experience.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with cardiovascular specialization.
• Background in trauma centers or high-acuity surgical units.
• Proven track record in complex cardiovascular surgeries.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid licenses and certifications up to date.
• Able to provide 2-3 days of interview availability.
• Willing to work at our facility from April 20, 2026.
• Committed to safety and compliance with hospital policies.
• Travel, licensure, certification, and reimbursements as applicable.
