What You’ll Do

• Receive pump lines from perfusion and prepare them for cannulation
• Support surgical services in CVOR/Surgical Services within a fast-paced environment
• Assist with procedures including (as applicable to role and assignment):
  • Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair (AAA)
  • Atherectomy
  • Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) repair
  • Carotid Endarterectomy
  • Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
  • Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR)
  • Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR)
  • Femoral-popliteal bypass graft
  • Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery
  • Mitral valve replacement
  • Pericardial window
  • Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery
  • TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
  • TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair)
  • Ventricular Assist Device (VAD)
  • Heart & Lung Transplant, Valve Replacement, Aortic Dissection (as applicable)
• Follow unit protocols and maintain sterile technique and equipment readiness
• Participate in required onboarding and pre-screening steps prior to interview/assignment
• Be available for call expectations as scheduled (90–120 hours of call in a 6-week schedule)

What You NeedRequired

• BCLS
• NBSTSA
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• Vascular and Thoracic experience (surgical cases)
• Ability to receive lines from perfusion and prep for cannulation (pre-screen question)

Preferred

• First-time travelers accepted if Level 1 Trauma experience is met
• Prior experience supporting cardiovascular and thoracic cases listed above

About the AssignmentThis role supports CVOR/Surgical Services at a leading facility in Indianapolis, Indiana, specializing in complex cardiovascular and thoracic procedures, including high-acuity Level 1 Trauma-related surgical care.
