Job Description

WhatYou’llBe Doing
Work in the CRM system to manage event details and track information
Use Outlook tomonitorcommunication, respond to emails, and send calendar reminders
Learn how to pull and enter information inSmartSimple(the team’s CRM)
Review and verify corporate sponsorship applications using tools such as:
Community Impact portal
Louisiana Secretary of State database
IRStax-exemptstatus search
GuideStarnonprofit profiles
Coordinate and attend sponsored events, distribute giveaways, and support onsite event needs (may include setting up tents or other equipment)
Communicate with nonprofits to schedule calls, meetings, and eventlogistics
Draft monthly emails to recruit volunteers for community initiatives

Education
Junior or Senior undergraduate student, or a graduate student
Preferred fields of study include:
Business,Marketing,Communications,Kinesiology,Public Administration,Political Science,Health Promotion/Education,Health Administration,Public Health,Human Services, oranother related field
GPA
Preferred: 3.0+,Minimum: 2.5 cumulative GPA
Experience
Prior work experience or exposure in related fields is a plus
Skills & Experience
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office:
Word,Excel,Outlook,PowerPoint
Strongrelationship buildingskills with both internal and external partners
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Comfortable handling multiple priorities at once
