Overview

This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions for a new Vulnerability Management Platform, processing data entries daily. Key responsibilities include building scalable data pipelines (batch and real-time), optimizing datasets through data modeling, and bringing data analytics to production at scale. The position also involves collaborating with other teams to improve the product, ensuring data availability and integrity, and generating reports for management on vulnerability status and compliance. Strong technical skills in data engineering, automation, and vulnerability management tools like Tenable are essential for success in this role.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and implement robust data processing solutions for the Vulnerability Management Platform, capable of handling millions of daily data entries

  • Construct and maintain highly scalable data pipelines (both batch and real-time) to efficiently ingest large volumes of security-related data into the enterprise data lake

  • Execute advanced data modeling techniques to optimize datasets, enhancing data accessibility and usability for various business stakeholders

  • Lead the operationalization of data analytics solutions at scale, actively contributing to the architectural design of critical data infrastructure

  • Foster collaborative relationships with Backend and Frontend development teams to drive continuous product improvement and feature implementation

  • Produce comprehensive management reports detailing vulnerability status, key performance metrics, and adherence to Deutsche Bank's security policies and regulatory requirements

Skills You’ll Need

  • Experience with vulnerability scanners (Tenable, Tanium, Prisma), CMDBs and ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Jira

  • Strong ability to document technical issues and report security findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience developing scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Structured Query Language) to automate tasks and create dashboards for tracking progress

  • Experience with Tenable on-premises and cloud products such as Tenable or other Vulnerability Assessment Tools

  • Experience in analyzing & validating vulnerabilities to most effectively prioritize the most critical vulnerabilities to a given environment

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Hands-on experience with Tenable products (Tenable One) is highly preferred

  • Proficient in designing and building scalable batch and real-time data pipelines for high-volume data processing

  • Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment, management principles, and relevant security frameworks

  • Skilled in leveraging scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate data operations and enhance security workflows

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $78,000 to $120,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
