Cyber Security Engineer (location: Herndon, VA)
- TS/SCI with adjudicated CI poly required prior to start
- Must have DoD 8570/8140 approved certification such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CISSP, or equivalent
- Identify vulnerabilities and provide analysis, guidance, and remediation requirements.
- Provide Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) hardening guidance.
- Complete daily system audit analysis and log reviews.
- Basic knowledge of or hands on experience with:• Performing Cybersecurity activities in support of software and system requirements, design, development, testing, and sustainment.• Secure Configuration/Hardening of Department of Defense (DoD) information systems.• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and cloud technologies.
