Cyber Software Engineer Technical Lead

In this role, you will:

• Provide strategic engineering leadership to analyze, assess, develop, and operationalize vulnerabilities and exploits across multiple platforms.
• Conduct and direct development services, as well as associated tasks, necessary to adequately design and deploy vulnerabilities and exploits
• Accompany Government staff to meetings with external partners offering vulnerabilities and exploits to provide initial technical assessment of these items
• Attend joint development meetings and workshops with cooperating intelligence services and corporate entities
• Design and execute reliability, security, and other testing and assessment of vulnerabilities and exploits against embedded targets

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in vulnerability research, reverse engineering, or related computer security field experience, demonstrated programming proficiency in security-oriented areas, in-depth knowledge of embedded, mobile and desktop operating systems, and prior experience leading development teams in a computer security-oriented environment (Google Android, Embedded Linux and variant Operating systems)

• Bachelor's Degree in one of the following areas: Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, Computer Forensics, Information Systems, or other closely related degree.

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated experience leading a team of Reverse Engineers, Vulnerability Researchers and/or Software Engineers
• Demonstrated experience with memory management and threading
• Demonstrated in-depth experience in tool development and kernel architecture in operating systems such as: Windows, Linux, MacOS, iOS and Android
• Software development experience including design, implementation, testing, analysis and debugging supporting CNO/CNE.
• Demonstrated experience performing Software Configuration Management
• Demonstrated experience writing unit test when developing new software and fixing bugs

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $204,200 - $353,855. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
