Job Description

Shamrock Services, LLC seeks to hire multicrafted journeymen with millwright, ironworker, and boilermaker skills and experience who have prior, verifiable experience as a foreman or lead man. This is a full-time lead man position with the goal of promotion to foreman within a short period of time. All company foremen are working foremen on tools. Hires must understand OSHA guidelines and safety requirements, be self-motivated, be able to motivate others toward achieving attainable goals, contribute to the overall productivity of his crew and of the company, and provide physical labor and supervision to a wide range of maintenance and construction projects in Georgia and other southeastern states. Successful applicants will have extensive experience with industrial machinery installation, repair, and maintenance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to using and supervising the use of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively; reading blueprints and drawings; taking measurements to ensure assembly within acceptable tolerances; maintaining company tools and equipment in a professional and workman like manner; recognizing, addressing, and resolving issues for customers; communicating equipment and supply needs to direct line supervisor; maintaining work standards and outlining behavioral expectations to ensure team morale and productivity; and ensuring team compliance with project and company policies and procedures.

Pay for successful applicants is $25-$35 per hour based upon skills and experience. Hours vary with a minimum of 40 hours. Most weeks include 48-52 hours. Some weeks are 40 hours. Other weeks are 70 hours. Hours after 40 are paid as overtime @ 1.5 your pay rate. Company benefits are available after 60 days of employment. Company is a Georgia certified drug free work place with regular drug testing and zero tolerance.
