Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Sales Manager to lead our sales team in promoting and selling cutting-edge technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, a deep understanding of the tech industry, and proven experience in managing and scaling sales teams to meet ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives and account executives.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Understand customer needs and present appropriate tech solutions.
Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Forecast sales performance metrics and provide regular reporting to senior management.
Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to inform business strategy.
Participate in contract negotiations and ensure the successful closing of deals.
Implement sales training programs and tools to enhance team performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field (MBA preferred).
5+ years of sales experience in the tech industry, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of SaaS, cloud computing, software/hardware solutions, or IT services.
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, startup or scale-up environment.
Technical background or ability to understand complex technical products.
Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly to change.
