CRA Data Architecture & Reporting (CDAR)

Position Summary

The CRA Data Architect is responsible for the design, development, optimization, and governance of data solutions supporting Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) reporting and analytics. This role serves as the technical lead for the CDAR platform, overseeing enterprise data architecture, ETL processes, SQL Server environments, reporting solutions, and data integration strategies.

The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, ETL architecture, and SSRS reporting development. This individual will partner with business stakeholders, analysts, developers, and technology teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and compliant data solutions that support regulatory reporting, executive analytics, and operational decision-making.

The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, a passion for data architecture, and an understanding of enterprise data management practices within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture & Design

  • Design and maintain enterprise data models supporting CRA reporting, regulatory compliance, and business analytics.
  • Define data architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across the CDAR ecosystem.
  • Analyze source systems and design scalable solutions for integrating new data assets.
  • Establish data governance, lineage, metadata, and data quality frameworks.
  • Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance on database and reporting initiatives.
  • Kadince Software experience with data migration, import, export and report creation
  • Documentation on procedure creation

SQL Server & Database Engineering

  • Design, develop, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Managed Instance solutions.
  • Create and maintain complex stored procedures, views, functions, and database objects.
  • Perform performance tuning, indexing strategies, query optimization, and capacity planning.
  • Support database upgrades, security controls, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Ensure platform stability, availability, and compliance with enterprise technology standards.
  • Rest API and Graph QL experience (data migration high recommended)

ETL & Data Integration

  • Architect, develop, and maintain enterprise ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Autosys experience with scheduling ETL jobs
  • Design and optimize data ingestion processes integrating internal and external data sources.
  • Build automated workflows supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
  • Monitor data movement pipelines and implement controls to ensure data integrity and completeness.
  • Partner with upstream and downstream application teams to resolve integration issues.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and support SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reporting solutions.
  • Design scalable reporting architectures supporting regulatory, operational, and executive reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with business partners to translate reporting requirements into technical solutions.
  • Support report automation, distribution, and performance optimization.
