How You Will Make an Impact

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst to provide critical support to the DOW contract. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in data analysis and visualization using tools, while also acquiring expertise in Palantir Foundry platforms. Databricks experience is required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • * Conduct data analysis to derive actionable insights and recommendations to support the DOW's contract's objectives.
  • * Utilize Tableau and Foundry applications, including Contour and Quiver, to create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to facilitate decision-making processes.
  • * Familiarity with the Foundry instance within the War Data Platform and Palantir Foundry platforms, collaborating with team members who possess experience in these systems.
  • * Work with different data sources, ensuring data is accurately collected, transformed, and loaded for analysis.
  • * Clean and preprocess data to eliminate inconsistencies, errors, and outliers.
  • * Employ statistical techniques to interpret and validate data trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver insights that support the contract's objectives.
  • * Prepare and deliver reports and presentations that effectively communicate analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • * Adhere to data security and privacy protocols, including Palantir's privacy and civil liberty (PCL) principles, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
  • Relevant Skills & Experience

  • * Proven experience with data analysis and visualization tools, including Palantir Foundry applications such as Contour, Quiver, and Object Explorer.
  • * Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • * Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from data.
  • * Familiarity with big data platforms (e.g., Databricks); familiarity with Palantir Foundry's data integration and ontology (data model) capabilities is a plus.
  • * Relevant experience in data cleaning, transformation, and statistical analysis.
  • * Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • * Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • * Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing data-related challenges.
  • * Ability to obtain an U.S. Government Security Clearance
  • Travel

    Up to 10% travel, depending on environment cutovers, stakeholder design sessions, and validation/test events.

    Education

  • * Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Information Systems.
  • * Palantir Foundry Data Analyst Certification is a plus.
