Data Analyst (Power BI / Operations Analytics)Pay Range: $35/hour to $40/hourPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support strategic operations through data analysis, transformation, and visualization. This role focuses on developing and optimizing Power BI dashboards that deliver actionable insights to business and technology stakeholders.The ideal candidate has strong experience working with operational data, building scalable data models, and translating complex datasets into meaningful business intelligence.Key Responsibilities
- Aggregate, transform, and model data from multiple sources, including databases, Excel files, and cloud-based APIs*
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs)*
- Analyze operational data related to service delivery, network performance, installations, and repairs*
- Perform forecasting and ad-hoc analysis to support business decision-making*
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through cleansing, validation, and standardization processes*
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver BI solutions*
- Optimize Power BI data models and dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability*
- Monitor dashboard performance and continuously improve reporting capabilities
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field*
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Advanced experience with Power BI, including:*
- Data modeling* *
- DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)* *
- Power Query* *
- Role-level security* *
- Performance optimization*
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, visualization)*
- Proven ability to transform complex datasets into actionable insights
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate)*
- Familiarity with additional BI tools (e.g., Sigma or similar platforms)*
- Background in mathematics, finance, computer science, or a related field*
- Experience in telecommunications, network operations, service delivery, logistics, or infrastructure analytics
- Data analysis and visualization*
- Business intelligence and reporting*
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking*
- Stakeholder collaboration*
- Attention to detail and data accuracy*
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Experience working with operational or performance data environments is highly preferred*
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver insights in a fast-paced environment
