I. Our innovative solutions leverage advanced data analytics to provide actionable insights that empower our clients to make informed decisions.We are looking for a Data Analyst with a passion for technology and data-driven decision-making to join our team. In this role, you will analyze complex datasets related to industrial operations, develop insightful reports, and contribute to the enhancement of our Machine Vision AI safety technologies. Your work will be pivotal in helping our clients improve safety and operational efficiency in their day-to-day activities.II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Collection and Management:
- Gather and manage data from multiple sources, including machine vision systems, operational databases, and external maritime data feeds.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous cleaning and preprocessing techniques.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for safety improvements within maritime operations.
- Create detailed reports and dashboards that visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights for stakeholders, including operational teams and management.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Support the development and implementation of data analytics tools and systems.
- Work closely with engineering and product development teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support for AI model improvements.
- Collaborate with maritime safety experts to translate technical data into actionable safety recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements for data collection, analysis, and reporting workflows.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and machine vision applications.
III. QUALIFICATIONSThe qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position. - Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the industrial technology sector.
- Familiarity with machine vision technologies and their applications in safety and operations is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with data preprocessing and cleaning techniques to manage large datasets effectively.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment.
IV. WORKING CONDITIONSA. Travel RequirementsThe role may require travel from time-to-time to customer sites. Trips will likely require overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.B. Physical DemandsThis position requires the ability to perform general physical exertions, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting materials or equipment.C.
